Bike event postponed

Wet weather has forced another of the Rotorua Bike Festival events to be postponed

The MTB Adventure Quest which was to take place at 5.30pm today, has been postponed until Thursday February 25.

Rotorua Bike Festival media manager Graeme Simpson said the festival would continue to support it and it would still be a festival event even though it wouldn't be during festival week.

"Despite the weather, most of the events will still go on, even if they are postponed, it just continues the festival foot print."

The festival offically ends on Sunday February 21.
