"We do this for whatever the owner can donate, and all proceeds are given to the SPCA." Each year they take pictures of about 40 dogs, raising roughly $400.
"We have a number of owners who have a photo taken every time as their dog gets older."
"I like to take mostly face shots to catch the character as much as possible," he said.

Dogs Day Out will be at the Scion grounds on Sala St tomorrow with registrations at 9.30am. There will be stalls, a walk through the Redwoods, dog displays and lots of spot prizes and competitions. Entry is $5 per dog.
