MADE IT: Four Kaitaia police officers - Jarrod Baker (left), Tom Nankivell, Paul Jury and James van Engelen - received their diplomas in police workplace practice Level 5 last week. Senior Sergeant Geoff Ryan said they were doing a very good job.

"They are four of a new breed who are serving their community very well, a lot better than was once the case," he said.

MILESTONE: It was a big day for Constable Tim Murdock too. Currently stationed at Mangonui, he received his 14-year good service medal from District Commander Superintendent Russell le Prou, left. SUPPLIED
