The first Collective Marketplace held in Forum North on Saturday was a big success for the public and stallholders according to Jane Frazerhurst, one of the market organisers.
Ms Frazerhurst said she and fellow organiser Brooke Gibson decided there was a need to raise awareness of mothers in business.
"We believed there was nothing available for mums in business to showcase their work. A lot of mothers are selling their products online but there's nowhere for the work to be actually seen."
She said there was a wide variety of products and services on display, including women's fashion, beauty, health and fitness products, massage therapy and a large number of food stalls.
