Bay hopes will also be on Napier's Janie Field to take out the inaugural women's top division when she plays Jo Wilton-Eadie from Levin GC.
In the tournament's 30-year history this is the first year women have been included in the main tournament with their own matchplay competition.
Forty-eight women entered and were originally seeded by handicap into six groups of eight, for three rounds of matchplay.
Field, of Napier Golf Club, has gone into the final with two impressive wins, 5-4 over New Caledonia's Maryline Zorra and then 4-3 over Polly Stoddart a fellow Bay representative.
She will face Jo Wilton-Eadie in today's final after a rest day yesterday.
Wilton-Eadie, who is a member of Levin GC, beat Suzette Eastmond (Akarana) in her opening match 2/1 with a further win of 2/1 against Marie-Claude Coulson from New Caledonia.
Gordon Hutcheson, who is playing under New Zealand colours, and Bill Butterfield from Mt Maunganui will play off in today's Super Seniors Championship.
Hutcheson, a Scotsman living in Canada, won his two earlier matches, 2/1 over Gordon Wheeler (Whangamata) and then on to the 20th to beat Taupo's Nigel Langdon. Like the women, the Super Seniors had a rest day yesterday after the first two days play on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Butterfield won 2 up over Ross Luke (Waiuku) and then had a 3/2 win over Brian Garside from Waikare to secure his place in today's final.
All 13 groups across all divisions, including championship finals, flights and plate finals will conclude today.
Tee off at the course was due to begin at 7.30am.
