Parade remembers Korean fallen

To mark 60 years since the ceasefire that ended the Korean War, veterans and family members completed a Ceasefire Parade in Hastings. The war was a boon for farmers, with wool prices making many wealthy. But a high price was paid by the 45 New Zealanders who died in the conflict, with 33 seriously wounded. Hawke's Bay Today photographer Duncan Brown attended the Saturday ceremony.
