Commuters can expect delays in the coming months as surface seal repairs will be carried out on several main highway routes around Hawke's Bay this summer.
Surface seal repairs are being carried out on several main highway routes around Hawke's Bay and motorists can expect some delays.
The works are part of the summer season roadworks programme being carried out by the New Zealand Transport Agency and will affect various sites on State Highway 2 northand south of Napier, SH5 between Napier and Taupo and the expressway as well as SH50.
Delays up to five minutes can be expected.
Work is also being carried out by contractors on three bridges across the region.
Sewer pipe repairs are underway across the Wairoa River bridge while repairs are being carried out beneath the Mohaka Bridge on SH5.
