Crown prosecutor Fiona Cleary told the jury that the previous day a woman occupant of the house had invited Edmonds, Elizabeth Healey and others over for the synthetic session. But when Rebecca Healey learned she had been left out, she became angry and enlisted Edmonds and her sister to go to the house.
The boarder said she had been staying at the house for about three weeks and was on the phone when the twins burst in.
Each had a knife and one also had a roasting prong. They demanded to know where the woman was as they cut the curtains down and kicked in the walls.
The boarder said she was "freaking out" and did not know what to do.
"I'm still trying to work it out myself," she told lawyer Scott Jefferson, who represented Elizabeth Healey.
"Yes, it was absolutely bizarre. I don't know what came over them. They weren't being themselves."
She said that as the women fled, Edmonds told her not to call the police.
The trial continues today.
