A large crowd attended an ANZAC Day service held in Havelock North this morning.
The service, and a parade, was organised by the Havelock North Anzac Support group after the annual service in the village was cancelled in favour of a district-wide commemoration.
Organisers had been hoping that theevent, held at the cenotaph in the villaged at 11am, would be well attended and they were not disappointed as a large crowd gathered to mark the occassion and pay their respects.
