Four hurt as car ploughs into tree

The driver of a car lost control on Pakipaki Rd near Tariana Farm and hit a tree about 9pm on Wednesday.

Two ambulances attended the scene and transported four people, one with moderate injuries and three with minor injuries, to Hawke's Bay Hospital.

Police said they had yet to determine whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
