For FTNC Hayley Stockman at goal attack influenced the team maintaining a calm demeanor.
It was great to see Katie Damsteed on court playing her first game indoors at goal shoot. Damsteed held well and performed well against the very strong defensive duo from Uni Prem.
Emma-Lee Rowe at wing defence also had a good game working relentlessly on defensive and providing safe ball on attack.
In the other game the first half was not as close but the second half was still very competitive. New World Rototuna Suburbs Premier started strongly against First Credit Union Verdettes Marist to lead by six goals at the end of the first quarter and by 13 goals at half time.
The final two quarters were a lot closer. The final score was 60 goals to 41.
Rototuna Suburbs Premier managed to get everyone onto court.
Monica Falkner at goal attack and goal shoot moved nicely and took the majority of the shots.
Emily Patterson at goal defence then wing defence made a nuisance of herself and disrupted ball continuously.
Verdettes Marist took too long to get into the game including at the start of each quarter.
Micaela Ashford at wing defence had a great game and she did a lot of work defensively through the court and was strong on attack. She combined well with Taylor Kells at centre for most of the game.
The move to change Chanel Dyer from wing attack to goal attack later in the game had a positive difference to the game.

This week was Hautapu Premier's turn to see if they would remain in the indoor netball premier competition for the championship round. The played New World Suburbs Prem Res in a promotion relegation game which ended up being a close encounter.
Hautapu Premier started well to have a slim two goal lead at the end of the first quarter.
Suburbs Prem Res then reversed the tables to take the lead by three goals at half time.
Suburbs Prem Res were only able to increase their lead by a goal at three quarter time and they lost the final quarter by two goals. But they had done enough to take the win.
The final score was 42 goals to 40.
For Suburbs Prem Res Kura Poulava at goal keep in the second half injected leadership into the defensive unit combining well with Gabby Swift at goal defence and they made the Hautapu shooters work for every goal.
For Hautapu Premier Sam Gibbons at goal attack played well linking with other players and providing good options.
Amber Coates at wing attack and centre played with speed and accuracy of pass.
Danielle de Waard at goal keep and goal defence created confusion and came up with some good ball.
Hautapu Premier like FTNC Prem 1 are disappointed to be out of the competition but congratulations to Suburbs Prem Res who join St Paul's Collegiate A in being promoted to the indoor premier competition.
