1 green apple, peeled, grated
500g chicken sausage mince
3/4 cup seasoned stuffing mix
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed and halved
Squeeze moisture from the apple then put it in a bowl with mince and stuffing mix. Season with salt and pepper. Using your hands, mix well then divide into four portions. Shape each portion into a 25cm long sausage. Place each sausage along one long side of each pastry sheet. Brush edges of pastry with water and roll up firmly to enclose the filling. Cut each roll into six even pieces. Place, seam-side down, on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Cook at 200 C for 25 to 30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and puffed.
