Scarlet Black is a young girl with a big secret.
On her 14th birthday, she will gain super powers that have been passed down through her family for generations. Each generation of Scarlet Blacks have been victorious in stopping the evil and immortal villain Zoltan Pepper from taking over the world.
While attending a Comic Book Convention with her friends and soon to be sidekicks, Peter and Ella, Scarlet is mysteriously kidnapped by Zoltan. Mystified Peter and Ella are taken to the Super Academy where they meet a lot of heroes and prepare to rescue Scarlet from Zoltan Pepper's Thunderdome.
Over 200 students from Tauranga Intermediate School have been involved in telling this tale of good versus evil, and the kids themselves have put in their own superhuman efforts to get the musical production off to a flyer. From helping write parts of the script, choreographing dance, stage and costume design, and of course performing, this musical is guaranteed to take its audience to another stratosphere!
