The weekend could barely have worked out any better for Northern League Division Two contenders Tauranga City United. Spurred on by a pair of favourable results elsewhere and news the club has secured a new major sponsor, the Blues romped home 5-0 against Oratia United AFC at their Links Avenue fortress yesterday. Their 3-0 lead at the break was built on a steady, unflustered foundation pivoting around captain Sam O'Regan at the back, who time and again picked his targets with a scything left foot.
