Three teens have done their bit for the community by helping wrap presents for the children of Tauranga Community Foodbank clients.
Lani Wreaks, 15, Katie Goodwin, 15, and John Stannard, 13, spent last Friday wrapping Christmas presents to give to foodbank clients.
It was not the first time the three
had helped at the foodbank and Lani said she and Katie had wrapped presents there in the past.
"We were wrapping up presents for little kids. There's a drawer at the foodbank so people can pick up a present when they come in to get their food."
She wrapped about 80 gifts and said her hands were sore afterwards, but it was worth it.
