Anthony Taylor, Tauranga light welterweight boxer, is the main attraction in the Stadium Cars Clash of the Corporates Two boxing night this Saturday at Tauranga's QE2 Youth Centre.

Following the success of the Clash of the Corporates last October, the next big fight night is the Stadium Cars Clash of the Corporates Two on Saturday at the QE2 Youth Centre.

Headlining 12 corporate fights is an international professional light welterweight bout between Tauranga boxer Anthony "TNT" Taylor and an experienced Thai opponent Kru Chain. The bout will be fought over eight two-minute rounds in what should be an explosive contest.

Taylor has fashioned an impressive nine-win, one-draw and one-loss record in the pay-to-punch ranks.

He has raw power in both fists, which should keep the expected sell-out crowd on its feet in the main event at the Clash of the Corporates night.

In last year's event Taylor was in dynamic form, stopping Taranaki's Daniel Maxwell in the sixth round of 10 in their New Zealand welterweight title fight.

The professional title followed a decorated amateur career in which the Tauranga puncher won two Boxing New Zealand light welterweight crowns.

The highlight of Taylor's amateur career was to earn selection in the New Zealand team for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India.

However, the Western Bay pugilist won't be taking the challenge in the ring from Kru Chain lightly.

The Thai pro boxer is a Muay Thai kickboxing veteran and he has a reputation as a genuine hard nut in Thai kickboxing circles.

While patrons at the Clash of the Corporates Two will get to watch plenty of action in the lead-up corporate fights, Taylor will not want to leave the decision in the hands of the judges against Kru Chain and is likely to chase victory by the short route.
