Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

UPDATE 4.35pm: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marvelled a crowd of thousands today during their visit to Hamilton and Cambridge.

They landed in Hamilton this morning before carrying out a number of official duties in what was an action-packed day for the couple.

Prince William visited the Pacific Aerospace while Catherine attended a children's tea party at Rainbow Place, Hospice Waikato.

They met again for lunch in the Cambridge Town Hall before walking and driving around the town centre to meet the crowds.

Their day finished by officially opening the Avantidrome and being gifted a miniature cycling top and bike for George.
