Police are warning people to be careful at intersections after a car was badly damaged on Devonport Rd.
Sergeant Nigel Ramsden of the Tauranga traffic department said the driver of the vehicle was going around the roundabout at the intersection of Devonport Rd and Eleventh Avenue when another car ignored thegive way rule and pulled out in front of them.
The occupants of both vehicles were uninjured, although one person was taken to hospital for a check up. Sergeant Ramsden said while the accident wasn't too bad, it was a reminder for people to take care at intersections.
