The Silver Ferns flew into Tauranga this afternoon to beautiful, summery weather and the prospect of a full house for their final quad tournament test on Sunday night against South Africa at the TECT Arena, Baypark.

Experienced centre and Waikato-Bay of Plenty stalwart Laura Langman says the players are all looking forward to playing at the outstanding facilities at the TECT Arena.

"It is beautiful there and the courts are so nice. We are so fortunate to have such a massive arena like that in one of our home regions. We are very happy and I am really looking forward to playing there. It is all very familiar and the crowd is always great."

Langman thinks involving teams like England and South Africa, to join Australia and the Silver Ferns in the quad series, is of great benefit to the development of the sport.

"This competition has been massive for the bigger picture of netball, as far as bridging the gap between third best England and fifth best South Africa. It has been invaluable and it has also been good for ourselves to expose more of our squad to international netball, which you don't often do when you have cups on the line against Australia.
