Bayfair Shopping Centre is on the hunt for a dedicated shopping blogger, who will be paid to shop and find fame in the field of fashion, food and other retail pleasures.

Bayfair Shopping Centre and the New Zealand Woman's Weekly are launching a New Zealand first competition _ retail therapy in social media form.

The centre will pick a winner of the Shopping Video Blogger 2012 competition, to serve as its dedicated video blogger.

The winner will score a five-month video blogging assignment with the centre. Each month they will receive $300 worth of centre gift cards and upload their blog on the magazine's website and centre's social media platforms.

To enter the competition, bloggers are being asked to submit entries of their shopping experiences, trends and style in the form of video submission to the New Zealand Woman's Weekly website. Entries are open from August 27 to September 30.

Entrants will be judged by the amount of public and social media interest in their online video submission and by a panel of judges from Bayfair and the New Zealand Woman's Weekly.

The competition is also being run at Botany Town Centre in Auckland.

To upload an entry to the New Zealand Woman's Weekly website, people can email their videos as recorded on a smartphone, camcorder or webcam, along with their details, to shoppingblog@nzww.co.nz
