Another cracker concert is on next month when Operanesia returns to the city.
The group went down well when it performed last year to raise money for Waipuna Hospice, and fundraising manager Trish Rae was eager to have them back.
"They were really well received last year. They have an absolute love of music, and their irrepressible humour and style will make it a fun night. They are a class act," she says.
Operanesia are a classically trained quartet who possess powerful voices and will sing a programme of classics, medleys, as well as popular contemporary songs, accompanied by musical director Claire Caldwell.
The group will be joined by special guest Imogen Thirlwall, who was a student of Tauranga Girls' College.
