But Tauranga Musical Theatre is once again transforming Westside Theatre into an ageing castle, and upping the ante with even more surprises than those sprung on last year's sellout audience.
A Very Scary Xmas2! is set in Victorian times. Evil Lord Jack will take over the mansion if Lord Henry (his brother) does not lose his virginity before midnight.
Director Daniel Pepperell, choreographer Lianne Howell and musical director Elise Rohde have been pushing the cast of 24 through their paces and are thrilled with the progress.
