Put May 5 in your diary - you don't want to miss the first of two Indulge Speaker Collectives this year.
Following the success of last October's inaugural Indulge Speaker Collective which drew a crowd of more than 400, the indulge team has been bombarded with requests to make the event a regular occurrence on the Bay events calender.
Last year local men and women were inspired by the likes of nutritionist Claire Turnbull, who shared ideas about optimising what you eat in order to look and feel good, Jane Hastings, chief executive of NZME, and retirement commissioner Diane Maxwell, who advised women on how to save for retirement without sacrificing their wardrobes.
A panel of three local female entrepreneurs was also involved in the event: Rachelle Duffy of Little Big Events, Shaye Woolford of On My Hand Props, Styling & Flora, and Danielle Cubis of Spongedrop Cakery.
This year's first Indulge Speaker Collective, supported by Tranquillo Beauty Clinic, The Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, Baycourt Community & Arts Centre and Fletcher Print, will bring successful businesswoman and internationally renowned shoe designer Kathryn Wilson.
Kathryn will speak about her journey from an AMP scholarship winner to one of New Zealand's premier footwear designers.
You will also hear from parenting expert Jenny Hale, who will be offering practical solutions for parenting, and Max Mason, former Tauranga Chamber of Commerce chief executive, who last year completed the 3500km Appalachian Trail, will speak about motivation, life and leadership.
Over the next few weeks we will be bringing you more stories on our speakers. In the meantime, for more information and to purchase tickets visit bayofplentytimes.co.nz
Be quick, last year's event was popular. So grab a bunch of girls and book in what is sure to be an evening of insight and inspiration.
