Shocking video has emerged of a seagull sadist laughing as birds he lured onto a busy road with chips are hit by passing cars.
In the video, the man throws the snacks out of the window of his white van, exclaiming: "Here they come … I don't care if a f***ing car comes, watch this."
The man takes great glee in watching the seagulls hover above the road and swoop down to pick up the chips while dodging the cars, news.com.au reports.
Filmed last month on Towyn Road in Abergele in Wales, the man can be heard saying "Nearly! Come on … come and get it!" as some of the birds escape the cars.
One bird is struck and is seen lying lifeless on the road as the man exclaims: "Got him! Look! There!"
He continues: "It's dead! And now I'm going to shut my window now, mate! They're going to come after me!
"I'm evil but I don't like seagulls so f**k them!"
The footage was posted on a public Facebook profile before it was taken down and removed by Facebook.
The man said he felt no remorse because the birds had stolen his chips, writing: "I warned them I'd get revenge."
All birds, their nests and eggs are protected by law under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
It is a criminal offence to intentionally kill or injure any wild bird, and anyone found guilty may be sentenced to up to six months in prison, given an unlimited fine or both.
An RSPCA officer described the video as "shocking" and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
The officer told Metro.co.uk: "There is absolutely no justification for this behaviour where gulls have been tempted with food towards a dangerous road and then laughing as a bird is seriously injured by a fast-moving car.
"We are shocked by this footage and are keen for anyone with information to contact us in confidence."
