Two people have reportedly suffered gunshot wounds in an incident at a New York shopping mall.
The Galleria at Crystal Run mall was reportedly being evacuated on Sunday night (local time).
A shooting took place at the American Eagle store, witnesses said, sparking a heavy police response.
Part of the mall was placed in lockdown, local police said.
"State police say they have evacuated a store at the Galleria at Crystal Run mall in Middletown amid reports of a possible shooting," News12 Hudson Valley reported.
"Police say the American Eagle store was evacuated. Authorities say they don't believe it's an active-shooter situation."
At this time, a motive for the shooting is not known.
The mall is in Middletown, New York, in Hudson Valley, which is to the north of New York City.
