A young man has vanished on his regular morning run on the outskirts of Sydney.
Rhys Sutton, 26, left him house at Jacob King Place in Emu Plains around 4.15am today and has not been seen since, according to news.com.au.
There are grave concerns for Sutton, whose disappearance has been described as "completely out of character".
A statement from NSW Police said Sutton "usually returns no later than 5.30am as he then heads to work".
"He failed to return home and has not turned up at his workplace," police said.
Sutton is reportedly an experienced runner and has "a good geographical knowledge of the area".
News.com.au understands he usually runs around the residential areas of Emu Plains and Leonay.
Police, SES volunteers and community members are currently searching the area.
A police helicopter was reportedly circling Emu Plains this morning.
Officers on dirt bikes and in a boat have also joined the search.
Sutton is described as being about 180cm tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing running attire including black shorts.
