George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's September 20 wedding is fast approaching - they posted their banns at Chelsea Town Hall two weeks ago - so it's time for more pressing questions: what will they wear?
Fashion website WWD is reporting that Clooney will don Giorgio Armani, whose designs he has been a long-time fan of. Indeed, an entire team from Armani's Milan atelier are said to have flown to the actor's Lake Como home to fit him and his groomsmen.
The website said it was told by a source: "They're locked and loaded."
His barrister fiancee, who no doubt has the pick of the world's designers at her fingertips, is said to be considering Oscar de la Renta, though is apparently not yet decided. De la Renta has dressed many famous brides including Katherine Heigl, Jenna Bush and supermodel Maggie Rizer. It is thought that the wedding will take place on an island near Venice, and will be relatively small.
Clooney has reportedly secured "an entire island" for the weekend's festivities, WWD said.
It was revealed last month that Clooney had persuaded the mayor to bring in laws to guarantee his privacy.
Local authorities will hit swimmers with a 560 ($886) fine if they are caught in the water within 100m of his mansion. Pedestrians are also to be banned from stopping on the road outside the property.
The laws announced by Laglio Council will stay in operation 24 hours a day until September 30.
Laglio Mayor Roberto Pozzi said at the time: "We have to guarantee privacy and security for George Clooney and his guests."
Wedding banns are a legal notice of a couple's intention to marry and have to be displayed in public for 16 days before they are allowed to tie the knot.
The couple posted their official wedding banns in London, with the pair each paying 35 ($69.70) before signing the document at Chelsea Town Hall.
