The annual fabulous Marton Market Day this Saturday is set to break all records with the largest amount of stall holders booked in.
Organiser Cath Ash said there was even a waiting list which was unheard of.
"I just can't believe we've got people waiting to set up stalls with many of them from out of the area.''
This is the market day's sixth year, she said.
"We might be a small town but our market day is big and fabulous.''
Musicians, jugglers, stilt walkers and other performers will be out among the crowds pouring in fabulous entertainment and amusement for all, she said.
More than 200 stalls of food, arts and crafts will line the streets and fill Marton Park with
local primary school bands playing as well as adult rock bands.
"There will music for all... it will be great.''
The local Samoan Methodist youth would be performing again and they never failed to wow the crowd, she said.
Stalls of the finest arts and crafts, produce and food of the region will be there.
"The Marton Market is the perfect market for buying quality goods for yourself, and gifts for friends and loved ones. Enjoy the pride of our historic rural New Zealand town.
"With entertainment, competitions and activities all day long there is something for everyone to love."
People need to discover the magic in our town, she said.
"It's a fabulous day."
