The Wanganui Girls Under 18 squad have rebounded from their loss to Taranaki with an impressive 44-17 win over Horowhenua-Kapiti at Spriggens Park on Sunday afternoon.
Although not a big squad in terms of numbers, compared to their opposition, Wanganui still put on a great performance.
Their last game will be against Manawatu Development in Whanganui this Saturday morning.

It was not a good start to the Jock Hobbs National Under 19 tournament for the NZ Heartland XV in Taupo on Sunday.
Competing in the second tier Michael Jones Trophy competition, Heartland was hammered 67-5 by Waikato. Heartland's next game is against Northland at 12.30pm tomorrow.
Whanganui's flanker Jason Myers and midfielder Desmond Tyrell are in the squad.

Whanganui's Les Heywood was eliminated in the first round of post section play at the New Zealand Indoor Bowls Henselite Champion of Champions Singles at the Feilding Civic Centre on Saturday.
Heywood lost to Otago's Brandon Williams 14-4. Hutt Valley's Marcus Trlin went on to win his first national title, beating North Wellington's Jeff Stuart in the final.
