Hunterville continued their good run in the Wanganui Twenty20 competition with a 65-run win over Tech 2 on Saturday.
The country team were dismissed in the final over for 111, with Sam Lambert the top contributor with 41 while Kahu Kopua picked up a great haul of 5-15.
However, in reply no Tech batsman made enroads as they were bundled out for 46 in the 11th over.
Ben Lewis with 4-9 was the pick of the bowlers.
In some of the other games, Wanganui High School Old Boys picked up a 30 run win over Saracens Gold down in Marton.
Reaching an impressive 162-7 off their overs, Old Boys held Saracens to 132-6.
In the battle of the United club, Property Brokers United 1st XI had the wood over their Premier 2 clubmates, bowling them out for 71 and chasing down the total with three overs to spare with Tom Lance's 31 the highest score.
Bayers Marist went on a runs bonanza against Saracens Maroon, blasting 229-2 on their way to a 111-run victory. Ross Kinnerly went on a rampage with 142 not out, assisted by Brett Cameron's 54. Saracens made 118-2.
