Staying safe online
How safe are our children as they delve into the world of social media?
It is a question that haunts many a parent, and a presentation at Wanganui Collegiate School tomorrow evening should provide some good advice and some answers.
The presentation comes from Netsafe, an independent, non-profit organisation which offers online safety and support for schools and their students.
Called "Digital Natives to Screenagers", it will look at ways to help young people as they learn to navigate opportunities and challenges online.
The presentation is open to all parents and students and starts at 7pm at Collegiate's Prince Edward Auditorium.
