What do tools and a Wonder Woman DVD have in common?
Answer: They were all allegedly stolen by a Whanganui couple who are accused of shoplifting on four separate occasions between July and September.
Kiley Lee Kelly, 32, and Shannon Kelly, 39, appeared in the Whanganui District Court on Tuesday facing four jointly accused shoplifting charges.
The pair were accused of stealing socket sets valued at $303.99 from Super Cheap Auto in Whanganui on July 30.
A month later, on August 28, they allegedly stole household goods valued at $571.95 from Briscoes in Whanganui.
Then on September 2 they allegedly stole tools valued at $376.40 from Repco in Whanganui.
The couple also allegedly stole a Wonder Woman DVD valued at $28 from the Warehouse.
The Kellys did not enter a plea and were remanded until October 10.
Judge Chris Sygrove granted bail to both of the accused.
