Space Gallery and Studio have a few creative delights happening for Winter Wonderfest.
The current exhibition is One Hit Wonder featuring work by Whanganui artists Frances Stachl, Nicola Gregory, Craig Sharp, Leonie Sharp, Jodi Clark, Kaye Coombs, Sandra Grieve, The Felted Room, Margaret Silverwood, Rachael Garland, Mark Rayner, Cecelia Kumeroa, Mike Marsh, Paul Rayner, Sandy De Kock, Glen Hutchins, Catherine Macdonald, Leigh Anderton-Hall, Eva Harkness, Lynn Hurst and Amy Blackburn.
The exhibition is open for viewing tonight from 5.30pm until 8pm and there is a night market in the studios upstairs with art and craft stalls.
"Kirk Nicholls will be here with the pizza wagon as well so people buy dinner as well," says Space Gallery owner Sarah Williams.
Other stallholders include Montserrat & Co, Bee Wrappable, The Magpie's Handbag, plumplum NZ, Locksley Avenue, head in the clouds, Rachael Garland/Deirdra McNemin - Open Gate, Margaret Faber, Nicola Gregory, Indigo & Co, Craig Winton, Ruby & Ella and of course hot wood-fired Flamin' Dragon Pizza.
Space Gallery will also host Winter Wonderfest finale event Songbirds & Storytellers next Thursday night.
Terry Sarten, Lance Rowe, Carla Donson, Nicola Patrick, Steph Lewis, Josh Chandulal-Mackay, Jay Rerekura, Marianne Archibold, Christina Emery, Tyler McDonald, Rachael Garland, Kathy Cunningham and Sarah Williams will share stories and sing songs.
