There are still some "i"s to be dotted and "t"s to be crossed but Prince Harry's visit to Wanganui next month will give locals a chance to meet and greet the fourth in line to the throne.
Prince Harry - His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales - will be in the country for a week, starting on May 9, and Wanganui is one of six places he will visit.
But his visit to the River City on May 14 is for just six hours.
Wanganui Mayor Annette Main confirmed that Prince Harry will be welcomed at Putiki Marae and then have lunch with the RSA at the War Memorial Hall.
After that engagement, the Prince will head to the War Memorial Centre forecourt for a meet and greet with locals.
As well as Wanganui, Prince Harry will also visit Wellington, Christchurch, Stewart Island, Palmerston North and Auckland, before flying home on May 16.
The 30-year-old's week-long visit follows a military deployment in Australia.
He has been serving with the Australian Defence Force and this is expected to be one of his last assignments before ending his active military career later this year. While he is informally known as Prince Harry, he continues to use Wales as his surname for military purposes and is known as Captain Harry Wales in those contexts.
