A man has been charged over the theft of fencing items from Wanganui Riding for the Disabled.
The charity suffered a spate of burglaries last December, including the theft of tools belonging to a man who was fixing the fences free of charge.
The owner of the tools was at a second-hand trading store recently and contacted police when he saw his missing tools up for sale.
A 27-year-old Wanganui man was charged with receiving stolen property and will appear in the Whanganui District Court on April 8.
