Bikes & Bends Outdoor Yoga 
Bikes & Bends is a social enterprise which offers lighthearted outdoor yoga classes for beginners and beyond. Throughout summer they have several different classes across the week, from hatha to vinyasa plus mindful meditation. Booking is essential, and the casual cost to attend is $15.

Free Park Yoga
Held at various parks throughout Auckland - including Olympic Park in New Lynn and Victoria Park in the city - the mission of Free Park Yoga is to make yoga accessible to everyone. A seasonal summer project, classes are weather dependent - find session times, park locations and more on Facebook.

Sunrise Yoga on Queens Wharf
Another free yoga event, held on the water's edge behind the Cloud at the end of Queens Wharf. The annual series runs each year throughout January and February, with all experience levels welcome. Just bring your own yoga mat.

Yoga on the Beach
Give 20 minutes of easy yoga on the beach a go this summer. Qualified instructor Shelley Charlton is offering free classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7.30am on Big Manly Beach (by the Manly Sailing Club) until the end of February. There's no need to bring a mat or make a booking either.
