DairyNZ is celebrating World Water Day today with a 'Pledge and Win' competition says chief executive Dr Tim Mackle.
Mackle spoke to The Country's Jamie Mackay about how DairyNZ is highlighting water quality issues through the competition, which was launched by its initiative The Vision is Clear.
"Improving our waterways is a team effort and dairy cannot do it alone - so we're reaching out to everybody," said Mackle.

DairyNZ wants Kiwis to think about something positive they can do for waterways and then share that idea by posting a photo of their pledge in action on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #thevisionisclear.
The winner takes home $10,000 cash.
DairyNZ hopes 'Pledge and Win' get people thinking about how they can make a difference, said Mackle.
