Three things you should be watching online this week.
The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix)
Netflix's new horror series is kind of like This Is Us, only minus the warm fuzzies and with a whole lot of supernatural terror instead. Based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 gothic-horror novel of the same name, it follows five siblings who are drawn back to their childhood home when one of them dies. From there we bounce through timelines and perspectives a la This Is Us as the family tries to face its demons - both figurative and literal. All 10 episodes are available to stream now.
Entourage, seasons 1-8 (Neon)
Take a step back in time to 2004 when Vincent Chase introduced us to his close circle of friends. New York mates Eric, Turtle and Johnny Drama migrate to Los Angeles to help fellow friend and Hollywood star Vincent navigate life as a celebrity. The four are faced with sex, parties and super-agents as they learn to adjust to life in the fast lane. Fans of the hit show can relive all the action with all eight seasons on Neon. Available to stream from tomorrow.
AFK, season 2 (TVNZ OnDemand)
The hit New Zealand web series is back for round two. AFK follows the misadventures of a group of gamers who mysteriously wake up trapped in a game in the bodies of their characters. Some are gender swapped, some are too young to even know what's happening, but they're all forced to work together in a new land with high stakes, no rules and where only the strongest will survive. It stars JJ Fong, Mia Pistorius and more - and it's certainly come a long way from its Kickstarter beginnings. Available to stream from today.
