This month could be one of your last chances to buy the iconic Girl Guide biscuits.

After more than 60 years, Girl Guides plans to stop selling the biscuits next year.

But Te Awamutu residents have one more opportunity to get their hands on the tasty treats.

Pippins, Brownies, Guides and Rangers will hit the streets this weekend.

After more than 60 years, Girl Guides plans to stop selling the biscuits next year.

They will be at Countdown, The Warehouse and Pak 'n Save on Saturday from 9am to 3pm, and at Countdown and The Warehouse at the same time on Sunday.

The girls will be selling biscuits from those locations during the next three weeks.

The funds raised are used to provide the girls with fun, quality, educational experiences like cooking, camping and crafts.

Girl Guides Te Awamutu has Pippins ( five to seven years), Brownies ( seven to nine), Guides (nine to 12) and Rangers (12 to 17).

The group is always on the lookout for more adults to join the leadership team and support the girls.
