Le Dejeuner Catering Stratford Broadway played Northern Rangers on Saturday afternoon. Struggling for numbers, Broadway come out hard in the first quarter, keeping the score even.

Northern upped the intensity and scored six goals throughout the next 35 minutes. Broadway challenged back but could not quite patch up the damage that had been done. The final score was 6-0. Player of the day went to Matt Balks.

CMK Stratford Avon Men's team travelled to New Plymouth to play Northern Wolves. Avon put in a great effort but Northern were too strong and came off with a five to one win.

The CMK Women's A team took on New Plymouth Old Boys B team in Stratford. The first quarter was a hard battle as NPOB were attacking every ball and Stratford was backing off. The game improved as it went on for Stratford, with good teamwork and passion ultimately winning the game.


Players of the day went to Elisha Black and Mia MacGregor for giving 100 per cent for the whole game.

Matthew & Co Real Estate Stratford B Women played an outstanding game against Te Kiri, keeping the score even throughout the majority of the game.

A lapse in concentration towards the end unfortunately ended up with Te Kiri scoring one more goal, to come home winners two to one.

Megan George was named player of the day for her beautiful goal and determination throughout the game.
