A lifetime love of literature is being encouraged at Stratford library, with a weekly toddler group in term time.
On Wednesday mornings, the children's section of the library is a hive of activity as youngsters and their parents attend the tot time sessions.
The sessions begin with story time, followed by craft activities themed around the story they read together.
When the Stratford Press attended a session, children were hunting through Prospero Place to look for fairy doors before making their own with popsicle sticks, pompoms and plenty of glitter glue.
Adelaide Hetherington, 4, says she enjoys tot time and loves visiting the library because she loves books.
"I liked listening to the story today."
