New Zealand Davis Cup player Dan King-Turner has reached the quarter-finals of the US$15,000 ($24,400) Futures grasscourt tennis tournament at Frinton, England.

King-Turner, seeded sixth, beat Australian Sam Groth 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 and will next face American Shan La'Porte.
