Daniel Carter is preparing for his final week as an All Black - but his days of rubbing shoulders with the world's sporting, business and entertainment stars won't end at the Rugby World Cup.
The 111-test star will join Paris-based club Racing 92 at the end of the campaign on a mega three-year contract, worth a staggering $6 million.
And when our much-loved "Perfect 10" isn't starring in Racing 92's famed blue-and-white hooped jersey, the 33-year-old father of two is set to mingle with European A-listers - including the Rolling Stones, if his new club boss has his way.
Racing 92 is owned by property and wine magnate Jacky Lorenzetti. He is also club president.
Carter will be formally introduced to Racing 92's fans on November 28, three days before his contract with the club begins, at a ceremony ahead of the side's clash with Stade Toulousain.
The red carpet is set to be rolled out for Carter off the field, too, as the All Black hero is expected to become a fixture at A-list parties and events featuring corporate high-fliers in the French capital.
And Carter - who has rented a house in Paris with his wife Honor and their young sons, Fox and Marco - will be well-prepared for communicating with locals. Racing 92's adviser to the club president, Ian Borthwick, understands the star first-five has been taking French lessons.
More tuition will follow on his arrival in France.
"The club makes a real effort to integrate the foreign players and part of my job is teaching French to the English-speaking players," Borthwick, a former Kiwi school teacher-turned-journalist, said.
The marketing of Carter has started before he even debuts for Racing 92.
Borthwick tweeted a picture of Carter with a bottle of Chateau Pedesclaux from one of Lorenzetti's vineyards after the All Blacks' 62-13 demolition of France in last Sunday's quarter-final in Cardiff.
It came with the caption: "After the effort, comfort. When the best 10 of the world asks [for] one of the best reds of the world. #merciJacky".
Borthwick told Spy that once in France, Carter would possibly promote Lorenzetti's wine interests.
"Dan has a number of contractual appearances/operations with a couple of our main sponsors," he added.
Carter's marketability in Paris was noted by his new coach Ronan O'Gara, in a column the former Irish international wrote for the Irish Examiner shortly after his signing last year.
"Racing is an international club and Carter must surely recognise the commercial appeal of a marketplace like Paris," O'Gara wrote. "If I was him, I'd be licking my lips and doing somersaults all at once. As would I if I was his agent."
O'Gara also revealed Lorenzetti's ambitious plan for the opening of their new stadium, Arena 92, next year included a concert by the Rolling Stones, backed up by a clash between Racing 92 and the All Blacks, who will be on their 2016 season-ending tour of Europe at the time.
