Warriors coach Andrew McFadden will be keen to hear the latest update on back-rower Ryan Hoffman who left the State of Origin decider last night with an injury.
Hoffman left the field with a calf injury early in the match which didn't help the visitors' cause - going down by a record margin 52-6.
The extent of his injury was unknown post-match but he never returned to the game. AAP were reporting Hoffman suffered a torn calf which can take 2-4 weeks to recover from.
Match report: The slaughter at Suncorp
Hoffman, the Warriors big off-season signing from the Melbourne Storm, has been named in the Warriors starting line-up to face his former team at Mt Smart on Sunday.
Fellow Warrior Jacob Lillyman will have bragging rights over his teammate after putting in a strong performance in Queensland's victory.
Lillyman copped a high tackle from James Tamou in the 54th minute, for which the Cowboys forward was put on report, but it didn't seem to slow down Lillyman. He finished the match with 138 metres gained from off the bench.
