Herald readers have overwhelmingly sided with a stanch Blues fan who has vented his frustration with the franchise in an open letter to Blues CEO Michael Redman, published by the Herald.
Steve Fisher, who considers himself one of the biggest Auckland and Blues rugby fans he knows, has called for Redman to front up.

"Every sporting organisation has lean years. I accept it takes time to rebuild. I accept that the new ownership and governance structure is probably still settling in. I also accept the team are working hard and doing the best they can," he wrote.
"What I don't accept is the apparent lack of accountability being displayed by the organisation's executive and board. How can you justify your continued silence on team performance and the unfolding coaching debacle?"
In a poll on the story the question was asked 'Do you agree with Steve Fisher's open letter?'
After more than 850 votes, 97 percent of readers backed the Blues fan's stance.

Steve Fisher's letter matches the sentiments of a number of Blues fans on the team's official Facebook page during the week.
Malcolm Samuels wrote: The very thought of keeping Kirwan as coach makes me sick. We should boycott the rest of the Blues home games if it is announced that JK is staying, our season is shot anyway. If the Blues are gonna ignore us fans, we should do the same to them.
While Nicholas James added: We lost all eight matches on the road this season. Unacceptable. Since Sir JK took over in 2013 we have only won 2 of 24 matches away from home. This franchise needs an overhaul from top to bottom otherwise we are turning into the North Harbour Rugby Union."
There are some fans who defended Kirwan.
