Olympics: Waving olive branches to great athletes

More than a thousand mature olive trees are to be planted alongside the roads used for the marathon at next year's Olympic Games in Athens.

The €3 million ($6 million) replanting project in co-operation with the Environment Ministry will take olive trees uprooted in construction sites elsewhere in the country and transport them to the capital.
