A 29-year-old truck driver was arrested after a truck and trailer unit side-swiped picketing unionists as it broke through their lines at Carter Holt Harvey's Interion timber laminating plant in Manurewa yesterday.
The National Distribution Union textile and clothing secretary, Judy Attenberger, says she and one of 62 striking workers were bruised from being side-swiped by the trailer and another union member was hurt jumping to avoid being hit.
