Pakistan's win over rivals India wasn't enough to book them a semifinal spot as the West Indies headed them off in the under-19 World Cup in Christchurch yesterday.
Pakistan beat India by two wickets chasing 182, but could not reach the target quickly enough to earn a bonus point they needed.
West Indies toppled Sri Lanka by 62 runs to claim the vital bonus point to advance alongside India as the two leading qualifiers from Super League group one.
In today's games, group two leaders Australia meet New Zealand. South Africa, who are fighting New Zealand for the other semifinal place, play England. In the plate championship, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh booked the first two semifinal spots yesterday.

Super League: Group one (final): India 10, West Indies 9, Pakistan 8, Sri Lanka 0. Group two (all played two): Australia 9, South Africa 4, New Zealand 4, England 0.
