The Radio Sport Breakfast team will keenly have their eyes on Tiger Woods this morning with a $7700 pay day on the line for a listener of the show.
Each week with the TAB, the Radio Sport Breakfast team of Kent Johns, Nathan Rarere and Marc Peard place a $100 four-leg multi bet in a segment called the Rambler.
It's fair to say the team has been a bit out of form this year with just one Rambler bet coming through in 2018 - back in February.
But they are one leg away from setting up listener Adam with a prize of $7700 if Woods can finish fourth or better at the Tour Championship, which concludes today. Going into the final round, Woods has a three-shot lead after a stunning performance yesterday.
He tees off for the fourth round at 5.55am and is expected to finish around 10.30am.
Johns said: "Well he's in pretty good shape. Word has it Tiger's been told of the bet and came through with that eagle at 18. But we wouldn't be in this position without Israel Folau would we? The best dumb non-pass of all time. Atta boy Izzy!"
The TAB's Mark Stafford is responsible for the Woods' bet, with the 14-time major winner a strong chance in a small 30-man field.
The Rambler bet was made last Wednesday but a misreading of the PGA Tour's scheduling saw the guys have to wait an extra seven days to see if the punt was successful. By 11am today they will have the answer.
