Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an England jersey? A bet is a bet.

The Swedish football star will have to front in an England top at a game at Wembley after losing a bet to David Beckham over this morning's World Cup quarter-final.

England advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 1990 with a 2-0 win over Sweden.

Swedish great Ibrahimovic who now plays in the US, challenged the former England captain on Saturday to a wager on the outcome of today's game.

"If England win I buy you dinner wherever you want in the world, but if Sweden wins you buy me whatever I want from Ikea, OK?" Ibrahimovic proposed on Twitter.

Accepting the risk of furnishing Ibrahimovic's LA mansion, and adding a further twist Beckham soon rose to the challenged.

Replying on Instagram, he wrote: "If Sweden win I will personally take you to Ikea and buy you whatever you need for the new mansion in LA, but when England win I want you to come watch an England game at Wembley wearing an England shirt and enjoy fish and chips at half-time."
